How to use this tool

Select a ground vehicle, see main-gun ammo types, and allocate counts toward capacity. Suggestions are heuristics (AP/HEAT/HE mix), not optimal for every map.

  • Leave room for HE/smoke if your gun has them.
  • Share the URL with vehicle + counts.

Ammo presets without pretending to know the map

Pick a tank, see every synced main-gun ammo type, and allocate counts toward listed capacity. The suggest button splits roughly into AP / HEAT / HE buckets when those types exist — a starting checklist, not a guarantee for every map or playstyle.

Smoke, ATGMs, and specialty rounds still need your judgment. Air loadouts are not a full pylon editor here; use Aircraft Weapon Finder for hardpoint discovery.

Share and iterate

The selected vehicle stays in the URL so you can reopen the planner later. Combine with Shell Finder when you are choosing between tanks based on ammo class, then lock the lineup in the Lineup Builder.

Frequently asked questions

Does this calculate ammo Silver Lion cost?
No. Per-shell SL prices are not in the public cache. Enter ammo spend manually in the Silver Lions calculator if you track economy.
Why is capacity blank?
Some vehicles lack main_gun_ammo_capacity in the sync. You can still assign relative counts as a checklist.

Limitations

  • • Does not know map meta or preferred belts.
  • • Air loadouts are checklist-only when weapons are indexed.
