Aircraft Gun Finder

Browse synced aircraft and helicopter guns by nation, BR, and caliber. Missiles, bombs, and custom pylons are not in the cache yet — we don’t fake them.

This index is aircraft guns from synced airframes (cannons / MGs). AAMs, bombs, rockets, and custom pylon presets are not in the local cache yet — searching “aim-9” or “fab-500” will correctly return nothing until payloads are synced.

    How to use this tool

    Lists main guns synced onto fighter, bomber, assault, and helicopter cards. Filter by nation, BR band, and caliber, or search a gun/ammo name. Jet airframes with no gun in the cache simply won’t appear.

    Browse War Thunder aircraft and helicopter guns from the local weapons index — caliber, belt ammo types, nation, and BR. Missiles and bombs are not inventoried here until payload sync exists.

    • Use caliber filters for 20 mm / 30 mm / 37 mm shopping.
    • Ammo type strings (he_i, ap_i, …) appear when the belt list synced.
    • Pair with BR finder for an air RB band.

    Aircraft guns, not fake loadouts

    The index is built from synced main guns on airframes. Filter by nation, BR band, and caliber, or search a gun or belt ammo name. Each row links to the carrier vehicle page.

    AAMs, bombs, rockets, and custom pylon presets are not in the WT Charts cache yet. Searching for aim-9 or fab-500 correctly returns nothing rather than a guessed loadout list.

    When to use this vs other tools

    Use Aircraft Gun Finder to shop cannons and MGs. Use BR Finder for an air BR band. Ground main-gun ammo belongs in Shell Finder. Missile Comparison only covers guided/rocket rows that actually exist in the weapons index (often ground ATGMs today).

    Frequently asked questions

    Why are AIM-9 / R-73 / FAB bombs missing?
    Payload hardpoints are not in the local sync. This tool only lists synced aircraft guns. We will not invent missile or bomb carriers.
    Why is my F-16 missing?
    Many jets have no gun (or no gun pod) on the synced card, so there is nothing to index. Airframes with a cannon or gun pod appear when that weapon is present in the cache.

    Limitations

    • • AAMs, bombs, rockets, and custom pylon presets are not synced yet.
    • • Many gunless jets (e.g. some F-16s) have no row until a gun pod is in the card.
    • • Not a full loadout editor.
