Touch / Tablet Controls (PC Client)
Touch layout habits, what to put on the screen first, and how to stop fat-fingering fire when you meant to look around — for phone and tablet players.
Treat the layout like a keybind file
Open controls / HUD edit and move the buttons you actually use into thumb reach. Defaults are a starting point, not destiny.
Fire, look, reverse, binoculars / optics, and smoke (ground) or flares (air/heli) should never require a full-hand stretch mid-fight.
Aiming on glass
Use a stable grip. Two thumbs fighting for the same corner of the screen is why shots go wide.
Lower look sensitivity until you can track a target without overshooting, then raise it slowly. Copying a YouTuber’s PC sensitivity does nothing on a 6-inch panel.
Zoom / optics buttons deserve a clean hitbox. Accidental zoom while reversing gets people killed constantly.
Mode-specific mobile pain points
Ground: put reverse and smoke where your thumb already rests. Peek-shoot-reverse is the whole game.
Air: throttle and look must coexist. If looking around yanks your nose every time, fix the look control before blaming the plane.
Do not chase sim-level control schemes on a phone on day one. Get Mouse Aim / simplified touch working first.
Performance & clarity
Drop shadows / effects if the match hitching costs you more than pretty water.
Increase UI scale until buttons are reliable. Tiny competitive HUDs on a phone are ego, not advantage.
Play with headphones when you can — audio cues matter more when your FOV is a postcard.
